ReplyDeleteYay Hannah! Blogging is so much fun! I'm looking forward to reading this. Is your Dad teaching you German or are you using a textbook/dvd class?
ReplyDeletehaha I don't think I ever knew how much fun this is =]]] Don't worry Andi I'll be sure to translate it for ya'll! I'm glad your learning some German mom, maybe we'll become an all German speaking family!?!?...yes, no?!...haha I know that wouldn't happen anytime soon...but worth a try =]] Um...some of both Mrs.Tara. I used to take Rosetta Stone but I am currently using a grammar book so I learn how to speak correctly, I listen to Pimsler so I can hear it and learn simple conversations, I ask my dad how to say things I would use often, I try and translate German books into English so I can see what the words look like (that's a really hard one, I just do little kid's books, cuz the words are more familiar than like biography's =]), and my brother Nathanael showed me a couple web-sites for new german beginners, that helps a lot!, and I listen to "Langsamgesprochene Nachrichten" (which is 'slowly spoken News' in German) on my iPod that my brother downloaded so I could get to hear what it sounds like and try and pick up some words that sound similar to one's I know in German or some that even sound close to English! =]] I do a lot cuz I want to learn a lot reallly really fast, but you can do as little or as much as you want to, you don't have to go hard core =]] I can always give you some web-sites and stuff if you want to learn too =]]] Thanks for asking =]
